Leading gay-rights group backs Cuomo’s re-election

The Empire State Pride Agenda, New York’s leading gay-rights group, endorsed Gov. Andrew Cuomo for re-election today, and Cuomo issued a letter backing transgender rights.

Cuomo’s letter reaffirmed his “deep commitment” to protections for transgender New Yorkers.
