Noble Gas opening new location in South Glens Falls

SOUTH GLENS FALLS — Noble Gas Solutions of Albany, which provides industrial gases to hospitals, manufacturers and welders, is opening a new location in South Glens Falls that will serve the North Country.

CEO J. David Mahoney will lead a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new 6,000-square-foot store and warehouse at 15 Third St. at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Northway Brewing will be offering beer samples to those who attend as part of the celebration, which will include Michael Bittel, CEO of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce, and local elected leaders.

And they could use a new business there, I actually know the former mayor, but what's up with giving folks beer to promote "industrial gases?"

I guess it might be some type of perk to the employees.

BTW, I have 12 years sober as of last Friday and, like I said, I know the former mayor.

My time spent among AA members lets me know that very few people stay sober that long.

And you're right, I have made more friends than I can count who "went back out," as they say. And I've also been to funerals. *sigh*

However, I share a sobriety date with one long-timer who I make it a point to listen to - he still comes to meetings and reaches out to others - only his sobriety date is 1976!
