Brooklyn Basks In VMA's Star-Studded Glow

It was a big night for music, but an even bigger night for Brooklyn as the 30th annual MTV Video Music Awards took over the Barclays Center Sunday.
British band One Direction was just one of the many performers making an appearance at the star-studded bash.
It was the first awards show ever held in Brooklyn.
Lady Gaga opened the show with her new single "Applause," and managed to change costumes four times during the performance.
