It is sort of a wasted opportunity. But we're seeing lgbt issues won every day.... Smarmie Doofus Sep 2013 #3

Though it might be Thompson, not Quinn.

Even though Chris is essentially an ideological Republican now she'll still pull a lot of votes from single-issue lgbts and feminists along w. rw Dem ( the ...uhhhh... "pragmatists&quot sources. ( An odd coalition if ever there was one.)

Not enough to win, though. But it might be enough to edge out Thompson for #2.

the first LGBT mayor. I said I just can not vote for her.

I think he will get between 38%-42%. Of course if it comes down to the paper ballots then we won't know for two weeks.

... at least in the blue states. That corner's been turned.

It's wealth and income disparity that concerns me most these days. ( And I go pretty far back w. the lgbt movement. Even worked as a volunteer for Quinn when she was playing a radical in an earlier production. Shhhh.)

I'm not looking forward to a solidification of a fascist economic and military state... even if some of the beneficiaries and promoters of said fascist order happen to share my sexual orientation.

Several polls are supposed to come out tomorrow. Di Blasio seems to have all the momentum ( a pretty fair accomplishment, considering MSM pretty much ignored him) so if he's near 40 in the polls , I think he'll get by w/o a runoff.

We'll find out soon enough.
