Tourist who lost part of leg in taxi crash released from hospital

NEW YORK (WABC) -- "I'm alive, and that's the only thing I can think of really," taxi crash victim Sian Green said.

With her best friend standing by her side, 23-year-old Green talked about her positive attitude, not looking back at the moment that changed her life forever.

"I woke up, on the floor, in a flower pot, thinking 'What the hell happened?' And then it all came back to me," Green said.

The British fashion student and her pal were enjoying their first full day as tourists in New York City on August 20th when a yellow cab suddenly jumped the curb on Sixth Avenue, crushing Green's legs.
