NEW YORK (WABC) -- FDNY rescued a 19-year-old NYU student Sunday after he was stuck in a two-foot gap between an NYU dorm and a garage on 80 Lafayette Street.
Classmates say the student was missing for days.
Crews took over an hour to free the man. There is no word yet on how he became trapped, but he is alive.

A family member had a huge fall a short time ago. It took a lot of time, yet they survived.

(205,294 posts)Reminded me of a time I visited someone in the hospital. I apparently went out a side door, which locked behind me. And I ended up in a small alley with a wooden gate at the end. It was a weekend, so no one was in any offices, and I was in a blind panic until I managed to get the gate open and get out! And I had my dog in the car...
