Body found in Dutchess County believed to be family member of man 2 sons found dead

PLEASANT VALLEY (WABC) -- Police have found a body in Dutchess County and believe it could be that of the woman who is said to be the relative of three people were found dead in Dutchess County Thursday.

The search was on for 43-year-old Sarwat Lodhi who hadn't been seen since a man and his two young sons were found shot to death, their bodies found at two different locations in the normally quiet town of Pleasant Valley on Thursday.

Police believed the body located was that of the missing woman.

Authorities had said she was believed to be a victim and may have been injured, but they stopped short of saying how she was injured or whether she was the children's mother, saying only that she was a member of the immediate family
