DC Watchdog Group Calls For Ethics Investigation Of Michael Grimm After Threats To TV Reporter

BY CELESTE KATZ

Apparently, sometimes saying you're sorry just isn't enough: Watchdog group Citizens For Responsibility And Ethics In Washington wants the feds to investigate whether Rep. Michael Grimm's "I'll break you in half" rant against a NY1 reporter ran afoul of House rules governing members' conduct.

CREW -- no fan of Grimm, who made its list of "Most Corrupt" lawmakers three years running -- says the Staten Island Republican's screed "violates House Rule 23, which requires all members of the House to conduct themselves 'at all times in a manner that reflects creditably on the House.'
