After School-Closure Feud, Mayor de Blasio And Al Roker Exchange Warm Words On "Today"

The pair were all sunny smiles as de Blasio handed Roker a green Department of Sanitation hat and invited him to join the city's snow-clearing team. It was a far cry from their frosty relationship earlier this month when Roker slammed de Blasio on Twitter for keeping city schools open during a storm that dumped more than a foot of snow on New York.

He also offered a bleak forecast for Hizzoner’s political future: one term, followed by unemployment. De Blasio sniped back that running the city was a tougher job than being a TV weather forecaster.
