Search for missing person Jasmine Joseph on Long Island

SYOSSET, New York (WABC) -- Police are asking for public's help in the search for a missing 22 year old from Syosset.

Police say the parents of 22-year-old Jasmine Joseph, say she was last seen leaving her home in Syosset to attend classes at the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury.

However, the school contacted Eyewitness News and says Joseph hasn't been a student since May of 2013.

According to Joseph's parents, she called them just after 2:45 and said she was studying in the college library and she has not been seen or heard from since.
