Former NYPD chief Ray Kelly to join ABC News

Former New York Police Department Commissioner Ray Kelly is joining ABC News as a consultant and analyst, according to an email sent to staff this morning from ABC News president Ben Sherwood.

"A 43-year veteran of the NYPD, Commissioner Kelly's vast knowledge will provide our viewers with an even deeper understanding of national security and intelligence issues at home and overseas," Sherwood wrote.

Kelly will appear on all ABC News shows and platforms
