We gotta get folks registered, and to the polls with the required IDs because the GOP f*ckers are doing everything they can to suppress the vote.

there will be a difference made, i believe. i don't know if it will be enough, but it can't hurt and might help a hell of a lot.

And considering Pat and Claude Pope are in a pissing match with the NYT, I'd say mission *somewhat* accomplished. We're nationwide; hell, global.

I've talked to a couple of moderate Republican neighbors who are fed up with the NC GOP; question is, will they vote them out in 2014 and 2016? The state religion nonsense is one of the (many) things that pushed them over the edge.

We gotta get people registered, and to the polls with the appropriate ID. Beat them at their game!

Many in the GOP don't care about coat hangers or hungry kids, but they do care about the Almighty Dollar. This IS going to blow up on them.

That recent Christensen piece in the N&O really nailed the NC GOP. Texas is wacky conservative, but Texas has oil. USGS estimates are that NC has a 5-day nationwide supply of natural gas (and Rucho will destroy the state to get it...). WHAT exactly are they relying on? Women under attack. Workers under attack. Gays under attack. Minorities under attack. Public schools under attack. Voting rights under attack. The environment under attack. Muslims, too, now that I think of that idiotic Sharia Law bill. Who, exactly, do they think will want to move here? Hardcore Republican retirees with semi-big bucks? They're not enough to sustain the state...

when central NC is subject to periodic severe drought. Stupid and short-sighted but briefly profitable. And people don't realize there is bad air pollution as well...

But while zeroing in on that & other money making schemes, they get the public's attention focused on Sharia Law/abortion bills...
