He said that over 80% of North Carolinians approve of voter ID laws, including a majority of Democrats. Of course, this went unchallenged by Chuck Todd but Todd did look skeptical. He's such a facile liar.

When he was mayor here, he was not the loon crazy unhinged politician he is now. It also helped that council held him and his types in check, Tea Partiers not welcome in Mecklenburg County. Progressive star mayors such as Anthony Foxx and Patrick Cannon are assets that any city would love to have. PS, I personally know all three mentioned.

One done a year ago showed 79% support in NC for requiring a voter ID (though not necessarily a photo id for 10% of those).
