New video from the Asheville Citizen-Times appears to show evidence that big oil companies and other pro-fracking advocates paid people, some of them reportedly homeless, to appear at the hearing wearing pro-fracking t-shirts and hats. Here's the unbelievable video:

I saw this first hand and it was odd. I've been to a lot of protests and this was the first time I've ever seen a protestor refuse to talk about the topic they're protesting. I tried to interview a few of these guys for the Canary Coalition live stream and none of them would say a word to me. I think I showed up after the linked video was taken and the big dude had already gone around telling his people to stop talking.

Apart from the shale-yes guys the hearing was amazing.
