Total Suspected Reported Statewide: 121

26/100 counties

Note: New category added for Unassigned Cases

This is a change of cases from the last update, of cases statewide. That number was 92. Case number discrepancies are starting to emerge as some of those suspected positive, but proven otherwise, are dropped from the count. I am using the higher numbers until the counts are otherwise adjusted.

Reported range today is from 97 to 121 cases.

NCDHHS has graph count and map, showing the affected counties here:

https://www.ncdhhs.gov/covid-19-case-count-nc

It is updated daily by 11 a.m. each day. Last update was 09:45 a.m., March 19, 2020.

Comments and suggestions on these updates are welcome and deeply appreciated. We are all in this together.

Good luck everyone.

Durham County still in the lead. I live in Wake County. Downtown Raleigh. I have to go out to walk the dog several times a day. I was somewhat heartened to see this morning that at least 6 restaurants within the blocks around my apartment building have put out signs to indicate drive up parking spaces where they will bring out meals ordered. At least some of the kitchen staff for those few restaurants won't be losing jobs immediately.

I am using a case range due to the variability in case total reports from the sources I've found. If you have time could you please share the links to your source? Thanks mnhtnbb. And by the way, I love seeing your photos. All the best to you.
