Got my first Pfizer vaccine at Greenville convention center this weekend.

It went pretty smooth. Looked like they were well organized, no waiting time. They were vaccinating ages 65 and above. They give you your appointment for the second shot 3 weeks later.

Here’s the link to make an appointment for those interested.

i got my second this morning in Raleigh.

it does hurt worse than the first. But we'll see if I can get out of bed tomorrow.

I have been almost totally isolated for almost a year. i'm not sure yet how i'll react to being able to go places. I know I'm going home to CA in August and again in November, but other than that, I dunno. I've grown accustomed to this lifestyle i think.

when I was forced into the hospital. Details not important, let’s say life is fragile.

Last two weeks I had to self isolate with my friend who has cared for me (post hospital) thankfully without getting Covid after my son’s family all tested positive. They are all okay, but this vaccine (and Joe Biden) couldn’t have come fast enough for me! I’m making my dentist appointment tomorrow, 4 weeks minimum from now.

Enjoy going home finally. It is exciting. Life will come back in time for those who made it through this awful ordeal.

My brother lives there. I hope the area was not too hard hit to begin with, and I sincerely hope this effort and the ease of it will finally put us on top of this. Then, it will be off to the Pirate's Den! (The stories I could tell about my many visits to Greenville back in the day. ECU always lived up to it's reputation! Also, The Attic was a great venue and I played there a few times. What fun.)
