GOP legislators roll out their "Open Ohio" plan ahead of governor

Evidently Ohio's worried republican lawmakers are nervous that Mike deWine is going to make new rules using common sense and science-y stuff! We can't have that!

“My fear is that the governor is going to try to central plan and micromanage everything,” said Rep. Nino Vitale, R-Urbana, who is leading the effort. “Our plan trusts people to do that and businesses to do that and local health departments.”

So .... let's just throw open the doors to everything and "trust people" use their own judgement????

What a bunch of dipwads!!!

But it still won't make business owners open their doors or customers flock back in.

How many restaurants will staff up, purchase perishables, and open their doors? Because they don't know if anybody will come there to eat, I would bet very few.

As Leonard Pitts said in his column today "I'm not gonna die of stupid".

This little cabal (not even all of the GOP lawmakers in Ohio signed on to this) gets slapped down ASAP by some smarter thinkers in the Governor's office.

If THEY want to die of "Stupid" they can go right ahead, the trouble is, they will take us all with them!

They should see what's going on in Georgia.....
