GOP lawmaker plans bill to 'reopen Ohio', revoke powers used by DeWine, Acton

A Republican state lawmaker is proposing legislation that would reopen Ohio “without delay” and revoke the authority used by the DeWine administration in responding to COVID-19.

State Rep. John Becker, R-Union Twp., is wasting no time in preparing for the Ohio House of Representatives to get back to work on Monday. Becker sent out a cosponsor request to colleagues on Friday outlining his plans for a “Need Ohio Working NOW Act.”

“I will soon introduce a bill to reopen society in Ohio without delay,” Becker said in the memorandum to colleagues, a copy of which was obtained by the Capital Journal.

“It’s time to stop the madness and reopen Ohio,” Becker continued. “The bill strips the administration of the power they’ve abused by modifying RC 3701.13 to require approval by the General Assembly.”

They have basements and sheds full of Mountain House meals that last decades, plenty of rifles for hunting (they said they needed their AR15s for hunting, so they have no excuses there either), plenty of TP, because you KNOW the "bugout" crowd are the ones who hoarded it all, yet....

Yet, they are the biggest whiny babies about this whole thing. They are protesting being told to stay home by leaving home where all of their "bugout" stuff is....

to go somewhere else, which means they are clearly not trapped in their homes by the Democrats like they claim....

to go pitch temper tantrums in all of their state capitols.

I don't get it. Why don't they stay home and eat their damn Mountain House 25 year meals and roll around in all their hoarded TP and go hunting with their AR-15s? It seems like they would have plenty to do to keep them busy at home with all of their crack shot aim and best survival skills in the world, but yet....

they are all crowded tightly together, carrying their blankies (their loaded guns) and complaining because their governors told them to stay home for a while. Obviously when these governors told people to stay home, it wasn't binding. Otherwise, they would not be allowed to go pitch their temper tantrums. So, what are they protesting exactly?

I see through them. They are pitching a temper tantrum because a Democrat anywhere suggested they do something....*anything* and that is that.

I wonder how long it will take for them to infect each other. Seems like there will be fewer by Election Day.

Right now almost all think Mike is doing a fine job listening to Medical experts. I include Democrats in that, myself included.

I think the virus has zombie like qualities to it. If it sees no brains there, it is not that interested. I can't think of any other reason not many of them have gotten sick from it.

One Covidiot here in NC tested positive but has no symptoms. A few preachers who refused to do what smart Christians have been doing (have services online where it is safer) have died, but other than that, I'm just not seeing them infect each other very much at all.

I have been wondering about that. How are there still so many gun toting, temper tantrum pitching, whiny mouths at state capitols all over the country? Shouldn't they all be sick by now? I wish scientists would research that.

growing up in a small farm community where neighbor helped neighbor, people didn't rant about their religion, and education was valued. It's sad that my ancestors, from the 1780s through my parents and only sister, are buried there.
