Reminder for those who don't like machine ballots---you CAN vote paper

For this election, you can request and vote on paper. The envelope it goes into is marked REGULAR VOTE and will be processed election night, not held back with the provisional ballots.

is ever counted. We've already had a scandal in my county with absentee ballots just consigned to the round file unopened when sent in by people of the "wrong" party. It makes no difference how many eyes are watching when there's a big box of ballots just sitting there all day.

Election machines were invented for two reasons-- paper ballots were far too amenable to fraud, and even if the counters were honest they made mistakes.
