Police Chief Calls Secretary Kerry A ‘Piece Of Shit Traitor,’ Then Fires Machine Gun

Gilberton, Pennsylvania Police Chief Mark Kessler videoed himself making a profanity-laden rant attacking Secretary of State John Kerry, before screaming out “come and take it motherfuckers!” and firing a machine gun off camera. He posted this rant on YouTube earlier this month:

used extremely poor judgement. I wonder if he will continue to be employed as the chief of police in that town?

7. Yeah, I did a search

after I wrote that post and discovered much the same. I'm a gun owner and supporter of RKBA. This chief broke no laws, but I still think it was a mistake to do such a thing. Sure, he has 1st Amendment rights, so he probably could not be fired over the incident, depending on his contract and whomever was representing him in any legal proceedings.

The 1st Amendment applies to only the government restricting free speech. The chief works for a government entity, so it might apply in this situation.

I live about 30 miles away in a different county. I suspect that his constituents have pretty much the same attitude as the police chief.
