After PA. Legislature Fail, State Puts Tighter Weight Restrictions on 1,000 Bridges

http://www.dot.state.pa.us/Internet/web.nsf/Secondary?OpenFrameSet&Frame=main&src=infoBridge?OpenForm

The PA. Legislature failed to enact a transportation funding bill. The Teabagger-controlled House tried to slash mass transit funding at the same time they expected the Dems to provide almost all of the votes for the tax increases.

PA. DOT now has to try to extend the life of existing bridges to avoid complete closures or collapses, because there is no funding available for the repairs. 1,000 bridges will have tighter weight restrictions. This will particularly affect truck drivers and bus drivers, who may have to take long circuitous routes.

because none of the teabaggers in the PA legislature drive trucks or take buses.

Would it be too nasty to hope that when one of these bridges does collapse, it's one or other of these legislators who is in a car crossing it just at that moment?
