Corbett is running a radio ad that starts out by saying "Tom Corbett didn't go to Harrisburg to make friends." Yes, that is true, he already knew exactly who his friends were before he got to the Governor's Mansion, including the frackers and the for-profit charter school corporations.

Corbett Promised To Make School Funding A Top Priority. Tom Corbett's 2010 reform plan stated, "Tom Corbett believes in Pennsylvanias education system and will make funding our schools a top priority. Corbett Cut $1 Billion Dollars From K-12 Education, Failed to Restore Cuts. The Scranton Times-Tribune reported, "But Mr. Corbett's 2011-12 budget cut almost $1 billion from education, and those cuts were not restored for 2012-13."
