Corbettites use technicality to knock his Repub opponent off the ballot, overturning appeals court

http://www.phillymag.com/news/2014/05/02/pennsylvanias-undemocratic-democracy/

Corbett's buddies successfully knocked his Republican opponent off the statewide ballot. The Commonwealth Court had decided that the technicality was not sufficient to keep the opponent off the ballot, particularly since the technical requirement was missed because of bad information provided by a state employee. However, the case was appealed to the State Supreme Court, which overturned that decision and knocked him off the ballot, in a split vote.
