Corbett calls Democratic legislators "ballsy"

The dispute arose after a Democratic legislative leader said that Corbett has refused to tackle the transportation funding crisis in PA and that therefore he should rename PennDOT as the "Department of Deferred Maintenance."

Corbett then called the Democrats "ballsy" for not having addressed the issue under Rendell. (of course, the Republicans controlled the State Senate during those years).

I'd like to see our new PA. Democratic leadership walk around with a big pair of brass balls and continue to stand up for public education, public transit, safe bridges and people in need. I'm really glad the old Democratic legislative leadership from 5 years ago is gone.

are part of Republicans' M.O. ...

you know, like "Hey, Obama had 2 years of Dems controlling everything ..."

except the filibuster rule, the fact that Republicans tried to keep Franken from being seated so that the Dems could have 58 "party-line" votes in the Senate (and that fictional "independent who caucuses with the Dems&quot , etc ...

We're going to need a lot of that in the next nine months if we want to stay on top of our collective game.
