The best part is - the name of the soccer team is "The Outcasts."

Excerpts:

"For 16 years, the KidsPeace Soccer Invitational has offered hundreds of children a chance to scamper around the plush Orefield campus fields while raising money to counsel troubled youths. But this year, the tournament finds itself running up against a politically charged program in which KidsPeace houses refugee children mostly from Central America.

A team of Lehighton soccer players has pulled out of this weekend's tournament, saying KidsPeace cannot guarantee them that the refugees are vaccinated or that the tournament won't be targeted by protesters.

"If they're going to house illegal aliens, we have a right to know if they've been vaccinated and whether we're going to have to deal with protesters," said Chris Geiser, coach of the Outcasts and president of the Carbon United Soccer Club in Lehighton. "Our parents don't want their kids put at risk for a soccer tournament."

The refugees are vaccinated, KidsPeace officials say, and staying 14 miles from the games at the Salisbury Township campus."

FYI - The soccer team comes from a town where there is a very strong teabagger organization. That organization led past protests against this children's home for accepting refugee kids.

Here's a photo of one of those protesters in front of the KidsPeace children's home:

Chris ... It would seem to me that if you wish to guarantee that the tournament isn't targeted for protest, you should NOT be making the refugee kids an issue.

Another nearby children's home also recently took in refugee kids from Central America. They said the kids all were given complete medical exams and there were no diseases. However, the pasty old angry white guys on the AM dial have the masses convinced that the kids all have leprosy.
