Duquesne professor charged with keying cars

Bridgeville police charged Duquesne University professor Audrey Guskey, 50, with three counts of criminal mischief for damaging multiple vehicles in her neighborhood.

Ms. Guskey, a widely cited marketing and consumer behavior expert, teaches at Duquesne’s Palumbo Donahue School of Business. She has appeared as an expert in numerous print outlets and on cable and network television news programs. Her interviews number in the thousands, according to her profile on Duquesne’s website.

A neighbor on Ms. Guskey’s Bridgeville street recently grew suspicious after several cars had been damaged, according to a criminal complaint filed this month. The neighbor, Zachary McGill, set up a camera in hopes of catching someone in the act. (The court document does not specify the date when Mr. McGill began recording.)

On June 18, Mr. McGill called police after his girlfriend’s car had been keyed on the front fender on Gregg Avenue, where both Mr. McGill and Ms. Guskey live. Mr. McGill showed police a video of Ms. Guskey keying his girlfriend’s car around 7 a.m. on June 17.
