As long as voters make such 'Bright decisions,' nothing will change at Statehouse
Opinion in the The Post And Courier
Upstate voters are sending former Sen. Lee Bright back to the General Assembly, and, well, thatll fix everything.
Except, of course, all those things that South Carolina actually needs to fix.
See, there has been a slew of legislative special elections around the state in recent weeks, with more to come, and the voting has been nothing if not predictable.
In the Midlands, folks chose to replace an admitted pedophile with a conservative pastor
over a retired Army colonel. In addition to Bright, Upstate voters elected a candidate best-known for her crusade to save womens sports from the allegedly widespread, yet oddly undocumented, problem of transgender people switching sexes to better compete in high school sports.
