Healthcare Reform Subsidy Calculator

While listening to npr, the guest was discussing Obamacare , and how much it will help us here in Texas. Just thought y'all would be interested in knowing APPROXIMATELY how much in premiums we could pay for Obamacare with and without the subsidies. Depending on the plan I choose, Obamacare would save me between $200-$400 per month versus what I would have to pay for my employer sponsored insurance.

you can't just drop it for the exchange, right?

If the employer provided option is found to be inadequate or unaffordable under the new law then you can drop it. My advice is for you to check with the Exchange in your state.
