No shorts, no shoes, no problem as Dallas' 'Naked Cowboy' is crowned at McKinney Ave. Tavern (NSFW)

You know the Naked Cowboy: He's not really naked, but he's been strumming his guitar, wearing tighty whities, in Times Square in New York City for years. Well, it's now a franchise, and Dallas has its own Naked Cowboy named Paul Allen. On Sunday at McKinney Avenue Tavern, Allen was the winner of a weeks-long competition to declare Dallas' own Naked Cowboy. He gets the name and branding for two years in Dallas. Pictured: Allen poses with the original Naked Cowboy and Naked Cowgirl from New York after winning the contest at the MAT.

Note that the guy from Dallas only needs a ukulele to cover his package. So much for the bragging rights of everything is bigger in Texas.

There was no way I could pass on the opportunity to make a joke about it.
