Tea Party to Ted Cruz: Stop the lies.

From the Huffington Post
When a tea party organization calls Texas Senator Ted Cruz a liar, it must be a "pants on fire" moment. According to Politifact, Cruz has had many of these moments. Cruz exercised his freedom speech at a tea party Watchmen on the Wall gathering. From Raw Story:
This year, Im sorry to tell you, the United States Senate is going to be voting on a constitutional amendment to repeal the First Amendment, Cruz said, to the audible shock of the crowd.
The audible shock of the crowd turned to sharp criticism of the rookie Senator by tea party members who were obviously educated about the proposed amendment:
It explicitly says nothing in this new amendment shall abridge the freedom of the press.
Locally, members of the Tea Party have been more outspoken:
"We sent Cruz to Washington to speak the truth, not lie to us. When he lies to our face it makes him look stupid and unreliable. It makes us look like a bunch of ignorant fools. If he is willing to lie to those who sent him to Washington, who else will he lie to?"
"If Cruz is going to continue to embarrass the Tea Party with his outrageous lies, then maybe he needs to just shut the hell up. I'm tired of being lied to by any politician."
"You have to be a pretty big idiot to believe Congress is going to repeal the 1st Amendment to the Constitution. You would think that as an attorney, Cruz would know better than to say something this stupid."
You can't believe anything anyone says now a days.

(8,914 posts)they can't see Fox News as a politician.
If Ted Cruz had gone on Fox News and made these same statements, 99% of the
viewership would have agreed.
Fox News is a trusted "News" source to them, when they have a lying politician on the air,
they just believe Fox News.
