(30,058 posts)Governor since 2001, Bush did not try to close the border and in fact wanted the cheap labor for his friends and did not want the fence because his rancher buddies would lose the ability for their cattle to get water from the Rio Grande. If Perry did not have his eye in running for president he would be happy for the cheep labor. Bush signed a bill in 2008 which gives kids the right to due process if they were not from Mexico. This current situation has been brought on by the GOP and again Obama will have to clear up their poop.

(30,058 posts)If he should be elected president it can only be for 8 years, he will not get anything accomplished if going by his record. He did not run after Bush as many times as Bush was in the state but he has started running after Obama. He is governor in name only, refusing to extend Medicaid and we have the highest number of uninsured people in a state.

(4,695 posts)fence contractors with new fencing contract money. Suppose they will donate to the Mega Church? I believe that most families find it difficult to make an offering as wages have been stagnate and it is getting time to buy new school clothing, shoe and school supplies. Last year in late summer, Jeffers was trying to sell his book on helping the wealthy with their salvation, to make up for low donations to the mega church.
