Lubbock man told police he killed 4-year-old daughter by blunt force
A Lubbock father picked his daughter up to take her to church but later told police he killed the 4-year-old by blunt force trauma, an arrest warrant states.
Justin Michael Chisum, 29, is charged with murder in what police are calling the “violent attack” of the girl in a West Lubbock apartment.
Lubbock police are investigating the death after neighbors say they saw blood on windows and found Chisum walking in a nearby neighborhood.
Chisum is in the Lubbock County Criminal Detention Center on a murder charge. He was being held on $1 million bond.
Police say 4-year-old Kylee Forrest was found dead just a day after her father was given the 4-year-old by her legal guardian.
