One construction worker was killed and three others were injured when an activity building that was under construction collapsed at Argyle High School this morning, officials said.

Argyle police were dispatched to the scene about 7:45 a.m., almost an hour before classes began.

Argyle ISD officials said one construction worker was killed and three others were injured. Two of the injured people were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Students and school staff were not at the site at the time of the incident.
