I have always believed that the first women who came here as pioneers must have arrived in bluebonnet season and truly believed that they had arrived in Heaven.
Then came August and they knew in fact that they were in Hell.

Every new highway gets seeded at landscaping time with mixed wildflowers and lots of bluebonnets.
