As was to be expected after asking if this weeks floods were either a result of climate control or Gods rebuke and not leaving any room for alternate explanations, Sharpton riled many on Twitter.

Why do people have to minimize others pains in order to get a message heard, it's a guilt we all carry..

Several places in the Bible tell us God's ways are not our ways.
When asked during an interview why God visits troubles on humans, Billy Graham replied simply, "I don't know. I wish I did."
I once saw a minister preach a sermon on Job. The minister said to practice saying "I don't know."
Whether or not anyone believes in God, all of the above seems reasonable to me.
