AUSTIN -- The Texas Department of Public Safety is working with the states Fire Marshals Office on an arson investigation into the car fire on Texas Capitol grounds Fridays afternoon, according to a news release.
Around 2 p.m. Friday, DPS troopers and Austin firefighters responded to a car on fire on the Capitol grounds. The fire was extinguished, but DPS is seeking the publics help in identifying a person of interest who was photographed leaving the Capitol grounds.
DPS asks that anyone who has information to call (512) 472-TIPS (8477).

That photograph shows a person entering the capitol grounds. That is the intersection of Congress Ave and 11th Street directly behind him.
