all because of the stupid ass and very illegal voter ID law.

my middle name is Vincent and is shown as such on my license. However on my Voter registration, it just has V the initial.

that was enough get me flagged.

I was so pissed, I wanted to punch the fucking asshole repuke poll worker in the face.

why do I think she was a repuke, because when I walked up, she asked, "republican?" then smiled.

when I said Democrat, she got a sour look and it was only then that she "flagged" my name.

I truly hate these fuckers and this fucking asshole law.

I'm changing my registration name to reflect my name on my license. I don't want to give these bastards any excuse.

fuckers.

Registration card it had the same problem as you. I called the Election Office. I told the Clerk that I wanted to send a certified letter to the County Election Officer because it was not an exact match. She ask me to not do that. I told her that I had better not have any problems voting in the next elections.

I recently found out that filling out and presenting a provisional ballot is the same as registering to vote according to the Help America Vote Act of 2002. If you are already registered to vote then being told to sign a provisional vote would be intimidating a voter for trying to vote. I believe that is against the law. If you have already signed a registration document, seems like the state asking you to resign on another document, so that your vote does not count, would be against the law also.

Hope we vote all of these tea party extremist out of office soon.
