Twitter lets fly after Canada native Ted Cruz botches leader's title

Cruz, during a debate on CNN on Feb. 7, 2017, with U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, referred to a Canadian "governor" coming to the United States for heart surgery.

Cruz's point was that Canada's universal government-run health care is inferior to a more free market based system found in the U.S.

The point might have gone over better if Cruz had gotten Danny Williams' title right. Williams served as Premier of Newfoundland (that's on the southeast Atlantic coast of Canada) from 2003 through 2010.
