Jurors watch as woman buys pregnancy test an hour before she was stabbed 40 times
One of the last things Isela Sanchez did before she was stabbed to death in her Grand Prairie home was buy a pregnancy test.
Jurors on Wednesday watched surveillance footage of the 22-year-old leaving a Wal-Mart and getting in a gold sedan that prosecutors say belonged to her estranged boyfriend, John Pauley Stover.
Stover, 21, pleaded not guilty this week as his murder trial began in a Dallas County courtroom.
An hour after Sanchez left the Wal-Mart on Dec. 9, 2015, police found her body on the porch of her home on Silver Trail, off West Camp Wisdom Road near Joe Pool Lake.
