Former Cowboy Greg Hardy dodges prison with plea deal on cocaine charge
Former Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy has reportedly reached a plea deal after his cocaine arrest in Richardson in September.
According to TMZ, Hardy was able to have his felony drug charge reduced to a misdemeanor and was sentenced to two years of unsupervised probation.
Hardy told KDFW-TV (Fox 4) he's ready to move on with his life and focus on his next career as a mixed martial arts fighter.
"My lawyers did an awesome job. I'm just glad I have everything behind me so I can get back to work and get back to my life," he told Fox 4. "I'll continue to train and stay out of their way — stay out of trouble and keep my head down."
