Texas Shootout (Waco)

AUSTIN, Texas – Three bikers who were among 177 arrested after a 2015 shootout involving rival biker clubs in Waco, Texas, may pursue their Fourth Amendment claims against police and the former county district attorney, a federal court in Texas ruled.

The bikers say defendants improperly obtained arrest warrants based on a “fill-in-the-name affidavit that lacked probable cause.”

When we finally get to move the case forward (this happened in 2015) hopefully this year, people will be shocked at what LE did!

1% clubs like the Bandidos and Hells Angels. In fact this was a legislative update meeting of the Texas Council of Clubs and Independents. This Council is made up of all types of clubs from Christian/religious clubs to veteran's clubs to clubs like the one I represent who help the foster kids in the Austin Texas area. LE painted them all as "criminal biker gang members" to justify an ambush. LE knew well in advance that the Cossacks MC (not a member of the Texas Council of Clubs) were going to start trouble at the meeting with the Bandidos who would be attending. Instead of warning the Council of Clubs of this, they set up cameras and hid with suppressed assault rifles and opened fire at a public restaurant filled with staff and Sunday lunch patrons, as well as the club members.

They could have prevented this horrible tragedy but chose to let things play out for a big bust. After the shooting stopped they arrested EVERYONE with a motorcycle or motorcycle apparel and hit them with $1-2 million dollar bonds. With all of the cameras LE knew who had acted illegally and who did not, yet they continued to go after everyone there, ruining careers, families etc.

It boils down to the age old mistake of prejudice. You cannot judge a group of people and paint them all with the same brush. LE must have probable cause for EACH arrest. They would like to be able to arrest any biker just because of their membership in a club. America doesn't operate that way!

the bloodshed is unforgivable.

I understand the cops shot 90%+ of the victims.
