Advocates Say Trump Isn't Wasting Time To Snatch Land For Border Wall Even During Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic hasn’t stopped the Trump administration from building miles of border wall between the U.S. and Mexico.

Advocates say the administration is ramping up lawsuits against South Texas landowners to take their land for border wall construction and is accelerating the approval of construction contracts.

In Starr County, three generations of the Alvarez family live on about eight acres of land that has been in the family for decades. Their property borders the Rio Grande.

On a weekday afternoon, Nayda Alvarez was at home when her dad went out to get the mail.

...(or at least the cable news I watch) would take some time each day to report on what ELSE Trump, McConnell, and the GOP are up to.

There's a phrase from Kurt Vonnegut that keeps coming back to me regarding this concern: "Busy, busy, busy."

They are of one mind even during an pandemic.. it’s tax cuts for the rich will cure everything.
