And that’s bullshit, cuz part of my family relied on those willing to work together to survive — beyond born family. Some were slaveholders and some were abolitionists - it’s a weird ass world and folks have been relying on anyone who’d lend a hand to survive for forever in this ‘new world.’

One of my great, great grandmothers was a foundling (an orphan without origin) would become an amazing person and current secede Texans would be shocked how she succeeded.

Suck it up racist buttercups, cuz modernity is coming whether you know about it or not.
