make money where none was made before. Ignore infrastructure because it does not make money. Peel off money until the system is badly broken, then hand it off to the government claiming bankruptcy (not done yet, but it is coming). Force the end users to repair the system through tax dollars. Sell of the grid again. Lather, rinse, repeat. Texas, a huge Ponzi scheme for the very wealthy.

The Lt Governor makes a slight misstatement when he says “they can’t make any money.” It’s more accurate to say “they can’t make a lot of money” Fact is profit is guaranteed given the current structure. Which means there is no incentive to invest. Why risk capital when profits are guaranteed?

Texas’ system (and California’s too) are perfect examples of the failure of capitalism. Marx is laughing in his grave.
