The reason hurricane victims can't fly to their summer homes in the Hamptons is because God didn't bless them. They didn't live up to his standards. If they had, they would be rich and wouldn't need help.

God only showers his blessings on the deserving. The shortcut to impressing God is to give a bunch of money to Joel Osteen. That is Osteen's theology in a nutshell.
