This lady is a RWNJ whose lawyer fired her because she is now pushing voter fraud. It is never a good sign when your lawyer fires you.

Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo's former GOP opponent, Alexandra del Moral Mealer, is challenging the election she lost in November without her original legal counsel, who this week filed a letter with the court saying she does not support Mealer's recent claims of ballot fraud.

Last month, Mealer replaced her attorney, Elizabeth Alvarez, with new counsel, Steven J. Mitby and Michael K. Barnhart. She then filed a third amended version of her petition Aug. 10, significantly broadening her argument by adding to her list of grievances......

"Had she indicated a desire to pursue such claims we would not have accepted her as a client," Alvarez wrote in an affidavit she sent Monday in an email to the judge and attorneys involved in 20 pending election contest lawsuits......

Hidalgo's team objected to Mealer's additional theories, asking the judge to strike the updated petition on the grounds it was filed after a May 31 deadline to amend pleadings to add new theories.

Mealer's third amended petition is a "completely different election contest than the one she filed on Jan. 6, 2023, and amended at the May 31, 2023, deadline," Hidalgo's counsel wrote in the motion to strike.
