SXSW street fight – Drunk bully gets knocked out on 6th Street

It may be SXSW time, but it was business as usual on 6th Street.

Video of an apparent drunk man looking for a fight (and finding it) on 6th Street Thursday night is making the rounds on the interwebs.

The video shows a bearded guy with camo shorts dancing around like Sugar Ray Leonard. A huge street mob watches as the bearded bully fixates on one guy who doesn’t seem to want to fight and keeps backing down.

At one point, the bearded bully throws a cheap shot out of nowhere to the face of a bystander. Bewildered, the bystander did nothing.

The bully was endangering a whole bunch of people. The sucker puncher just took the fight out of him with one punch.

Shake his hand and send him on his way. After the bully wakes up, 30 days in county will probably improve his outlook on life.

That's a shame, but I do think that 30 days would do him some good. Get him detoxed at least.

I work down town, about 3 blocks from 6th street.

The traffic last week was a nightmare.

Once upon a time, I would attend south by so what but there came a point where the fun of it was replace by gargantuan amounts of money. It's now the snake that ate it's tail.

my GF works in retail and she said here store for the week was busier than it had been during the holidays and now they refer to sxsw as a "holiday black out period". No vacations during that time.

it's grown to obnoxious levels.
