Here's what Katy, Fulshear voters should know for the March 3 primary election

Katy and Fulshear residents have one final chance March 3 to weigh in on several county, state and federal races in the primary election.

Fort Bend County and Harris residents can cast their votes at any of the 76 voting locations and 270 polling centers, respectively, which are open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. March 3, per their websites.

Meanwhile, Waller County residents are required to vote at their assigned voter precinct locations on election day, per its website.

Voters should bring at least one of seven forms of appropriate identification options to the polls, including a Texas drivers license, personal ID card, handgun license, military ID card or U.S. passport, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s website.

I also testified about county wide election day voting before the Harris County Commissioners Court. Precinct election day voting is a pain.
