How did you do in the storm? Yonnie3 Jun 2023 #5
We did fine. It was a heavy rain but no hail, and we didn't lose power. Martin68 Jun 2023 #7

I will need to keep an eye on the area just in case. I hope you are battened down if you are under this, Yonnie3!

Some dime sized hail, lots of pea sized hail, gusts around 45. Rain heavy, but not torrential.

Watched the wind blow water up the hill in the center of the street while the gutters were rushing downhill. Lights flickered but the clocks aren't even blinking.

Not a really severe storm, but not sure if more will come. Some popcorn storms on the radar to the west.

I am in southeastern Charlottesville.

It was always a blast as we toured through the area. We would hit both Charlottesville and Blacksburg in that arc. Always had fun in both places.

(Now, Roanoke... that is another story...)

Mom is in the Tidewater area, so they got what you were getting. She never said much after that so I assume that it was not so bad.

If I recall correctly, you are a bit west of the city.

I hope to be back out in the country NNE of town after Labor Day.
