FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) —
A 14-year-old is dead a week after a single-vehicle DUI crash in Merrifield, Virginia on Monday, Nov. 20, a source told 7News.
The crash occurred in the 2600 block of Pioneer Lane when a young driver lost control of an SUV while going up a hill at a high speed, according to Fairfax County Police officials.
The car hit a tree before going into a tailspin, officials said. … Officials determined that five teens were thrown from the vehicle during the crash.
Kevin Landaverde died after being involved in the crash, his mother Ana Landaverde told 7News Monday.
